Voho wins a landmark enterprise contract

No app. No form. The record fills itself in.

Technicians speak, in Arabic, on the phone in their pocket. Inspections, permits, LOTO and JSAs are structured from what they say and land in SAP PM or Maximo with the photographs and the GPS pin attached.

  • Saudi Arabic, any handset
  • Your templates and mandatory fields
  • Photos and GPS from the phone
  • Permits signed by a person

01 · Inspections

The inspection that fills itself in.

A technician at the machine will not fill in a form, and should not have to. He talks; the template is recognised, the findings are structured, the isolation is confirmed rather than assumed, the photographs arrive, and the notification is raised with the record attached.

02 · Permits to work

Prepared by voice. Signed by a person.

The permit fills only from what the issuing supervisor actually says, asks for the gas readings by number, leaves an unconfirmed control open, and stops at the signature. The area authority authorises the work, never the agent.

Documents

Everything a field team fills in today.

Your own templates and your own mandatory fields, not ours. The mechanism is the same for each: say it, have it structured, have it checked, have it filed.

Equipment inspection

Findings with severity, against the asset register

Permit to work

Hot work, confined space, working at height, electrical

Lockout / tagout

Isolation, tag numbers, zero-energy verification

Job safety analysis

Steps, hazards and controls, spoken through in order

Incident and spill report

What, where, when, who, photographs, immediate actions

Shift and site handover

Dictated at the end of the shift, written up by the start of the next

Where it lands

Into the systems you already run.

Field capture writes to work orders and documents. Plant control systems are never touched, and the GIS keeps doing what it is for.

SAP PM

Notifications and work orders, with the form attached

Maximo / CMMS

Work orders and asset history

Any handset, any language the crew speaks

WhatsApp

Built for the field

What the safety team asks, answered in the product.

The controls below are how the mechanism works, including the one about what we do not do.

A control is ticked only when it was said

Nothing on a permit or a checklist is marked complete by default. If the supervisor did not mention the gas test, the agent asks for the readings by number.

The agent never authorises work

Permits are prepared by voice and signed by the area authority. An open condition holds the permit, and the crew is told by voice in the same minute.

Evidence attached to every record

The recording, the transcript, the photographs, the GPS pin and the timestamp travel with the form into the maintenance system.

Read-only to plant systems

Field capture writes to work-order and document systems. It does not touch SCADA, DCS or any control system, in any deployment.

Inside your network

On your servers, in a Saudi region, or in Voho cloud. Recordings and records stay where your policy says.

Honest about scope

Voice, photographs and a GPS pin from the phone, into your systems. Offline map layers and deep GIS editing stay with the GIS tools built for them; we export to them rather than pretend to be them.

Where this runs

The same mechanism, in every sector with people in the field.

Each page shows it in context, with the systems it connects to there.

Field operations FAQ

What HSE and operations ask first.

If your question is not here, bring it to a technical session with our engineers.

01Do technicians need to install an app?

No. They call a number or send a WhatsApp voice note from the phone they already carry, in Arabic or English. That is the whole adoption problem removed rather than managed.

02What about when there is no signal?

A voice note records on the phone and sends when signal returns, and a call can be made from any handset with coverage. We do not offer an offline mapping client, and we say so; where a site needs one, it keeps the GIS tool it has and we export to it.

03Which documents does it handle?

Inspections, permits to work, LOTO, JSAs, incident and spill reports and handovers, using your own templates and mandatory fields rather than ours.

04Can it fill in a form it was not given the answers for?

No, and that is deliberate. A field a technician did not state is asked for once, and a control that was not confirmed is left open. Permits filled in by habit are how people get hurt.

05Where do the records end up?

In SAP PM, Maximo or your CMMS as notifications and work orders, with the completed form, photographs and recording attached, and in your document store where your auditors look.

06Does it replace our GIS?

No. It captures a GPS pin from the phone, matches it to the asset register and exports GeoJSON, KML or Shapefile for your GIS team. Pipeline routes, polygons and map layers stay in the GIS built for them.
